Ekaterina Dimitrova was appointed for Vice-President and a Member of the Board of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria in 2021.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Master’s Degree in European Union Law from the Faculty of Law of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
Ekaterina has 10+ years of experience in the non-governmental sector as an activist. She has worked as Online Communications Coordinator on projects of the Bulgarian Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Bulgarian Platform for International Development. In the period 2015 – 2018, she was Member of the Board of the Youth Section of the United Nations Association of Bulgaria and Editor-in-chief of the UNA News Bulgaria online media. In 2022 she served as an advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for Effective Governance.
At the organization she is leading international projects and programs implemented in partnership with NATO, U.S. Department of State, European Commission, foreign foundations and diplomatic missions. Ekaterina is founder and head of the NATO Youth Ambassadors Programme at the Atlantic Club.
She was also the Secretary General of the Bulgarian Euro-Atlantic Youth Club (BEAYC) – the youth organization of ACB in the period 2019 – 2022.
