PanEuropa Bulgaria and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in partnership with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Sofia, the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute and the European Commission Representation in Sofia will host a conference marking the launch of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The event will take place on 1st of July 2022, at 14:00 EEST, at the House of Europe (European Commission Representation in Sofia).

The discussion will be opened by Mrs. Gergana Passy, President of PanEuropa Bulgaria, Mr. Thorsten Geißler, Head of Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Bulgaria and Mr. Cvetan Kyulanov, Acting Head of European Commission’s Representation in Bulgaria.

The opening will be followed by a speech of the Czech ambassador H.E. Lukáš Kaucký who will present the priorities of the Presidency. On the Bulgarian side, Mr. Daniel Lorer, Minister of Innovation and Growth, will share Bulgaria’s vision on European issues for the next six months.

The presentations will be followed by a discussion.
