DESCRIPTION:  \nOn 22.07.2024 at the Central Military Club was held the conference “NATO at 75: Ensuring Security and Economic Prosperity”\, organized by the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria \, Union of Reserve Officers “Atlantic” and U.S. Embassy Sofia \nThe conference focused on lessons learned from the NATO Summit (Washington \, 9-11 July\,2024)\, which also marked the 75th anniversary of NATO and Ukraine as a cornerstone of freedom. \nParticipants in the discussion were: \nDr. Solomon Passy\, President of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria \nAtanas Zapryanov\, Minister of Defence \nH.E. Kenneth Merten\, US Ambassador to Bulgaria \nDimitar Glavchev\, Prime Minister of Bulgaria and Minister of Foreign Affairs \nAcad. Nikolay Denkov\, Prime Minister of Bulgaria (2023-2024) \nDaniel Mitov\, Member of the European Parliament and Head of the Bulgarian Delegation to the NATO Parlamentary Assembly \nDenis MacShane\, UK Minister of State for Europe and North America (2002-2005) (online) \nAmbassador Elena Poptodorova\, Vice-President of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria \nThe conference brought together the political\, diplomatic and military elite of the country and many young people excited about the future of Bulgaria\, Europe and the world. \nWe are grateful to Vazovski Machine-Building Plants\, Glavbolgarstroy\, Geotechmin and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Bulgarien who supported us in the realization of the event. \nThe recording of the conference you can watch here. \nH.E.
