SUMMARY:POWERS SUMMIT 2023 – Power\, listen!
DESCRIPTION:On 7 November 2023\, the third edition of the Powers Summit was held in Sofia Tech Park. The Bulgarian Davos was officially opened by Aniela Rousseva\, who is the Director General of Global Webit events\, together with Gergana Passy\, President of Digital National Coalition\, and Dr. Plamen Rusev\, Executive Chairman of Webit Foundation. The forum brought together the leaders of parliamentary political groups and their teams\, as well as representatives of the executive branch\, to find real-time solutions on key issues in dialogue with industry\, civil society and academia. \nFor the first year\, the Powers Summit kicked off with the new “Prime Minister’s Session” and “Ministerial Sessions\,” featuring Prime Minister Acad. Denkov\, followed by the participation of Finance Minister Assen Vassilev and the Ministers of Energy\, Economy\, Education\, Health\, Agriculture and other ministers and members of the top echelon of government. \nThis year’s “Bulgarian Davos” was dedicated to the themes of health\, energy\, sustainable development and Brand Bulgaria – entrepreneurship\, investment and education. \nThe closing of Powers Summit 2023 was made by Vasil Terziev\, who in a conversation with Dr. Plamen Rusev talked about Sofia 2027 and more precisely how he imagines our capital to look like after the end of his first term. \nWhen asked what he wants the brand of Sofia to be in 4 years\, Mr. Terziev replied that Sofia will become a city of great opportunities\, a foundation for the realization of dreams\, a beautiful environment in which we can all live and develop. \nWatch the entire recording here.
