From the 1st of July to 31st of December, Spain assumes the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union, focusing on objectives such as strategic autonomy, reindustrialization of Europe, green transition, circular economy, and social justice.
On this occasion, on the 10 of July at 10:30 hrs, PanEuropa Bulgaria, in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Sofia, the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, and the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria, are organizing a discussion at the House of Europe (G. Rakovski St. 124).
The priorities of the Spanish presidency will be presented by H.E. Mr. Alejandro Polanco, Ambassador of Spain to Bulgaria. The Bulgarian perspective on key European issues will be outlined by Mr. Boyko Blagoev, Head of the “Information and Communication” department at the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria.
The event will be opened by Gergana Pasi, Chairperson of PanEuropa Bulgaria, and Mr. Norbert Beckmann-Dierkes, Head of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s office in Sofia.
The program includes a question and answer session, where participants, the physically present audience, and visitors on ZOOM can actively participate in the discussion.
