On 8.10.2024. The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria and the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria had the pleasure to welcome Nicholas Kralev – an experienced journalist with a focus on covering the work of U.S. Secretaries of State, including Hillary Clinton and Colin Powell. The event was held at the American Corner in the Capital Library Library.

Moderated by Elena Poptodorova, he shared his analyses of the work of more than 80 U.S. diplomatic missions in his new book Diplomatic Tradecraft. It is also the first practical textbook on diplomacy. He shared about his difficult journey from the low levels of diplomatic work in the US, all kinds of challenges and problems in his experience, and an enjoyable and fruitful discussion with the audience in the room.
