The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria and the Euro-Atlantic Youth Association have announced the start of the second edition of NATO Youth Ambassadors – an initiative for 16 youth leaders and innovators with an interest in diplomacy, international politics and security. The program is open to young people aged 18-26 from all over the country.
The program lasts 12 months, during which the ambassadors will participate in a one-day training in Sofia, a two-day visit to NATO Headquarters in Brussels, a meeting-discussion with young people in eight Bulgarian cities and participation in an official award ceremony in Sofia.
The aim of the initiative is to recognize young people, pupils and students from all over Bulgaria, who through meetings with diplomats, representatives of institutions and the non-governmental sector to deepen their knowledge in the field of international politics, multilateral diplomacy and Bulgaria’s NATO membership. communication skills, public speaking, teamwork, organizational skills and protocol.
Requirements:
Candidates for NATO Youth Ambassadors may be young people aged 18 to 26 who are fluent in English, which will be the working language of the visit to NATO Headquarters.

Transport and accommodation costs to Brussels are covered by the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria.
Transportation costs for local meetings-discussions in Bulgaria (April – June) are covered by the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria. A team of two Youth Ambassadors will take part in each meeting-discussion around the country. The meetings-discussions will be one-day, their exact date is determined after communication with the local partners. Each NATO Youth Ambassador should participate in a meeting-discussion.
