The second edition of the “Hello, Space! Bulgaria Calling!” STEAM & SPACE Festival, organized by The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria and partnering organizations, took place on September 13, 2022, at Sofia Tech Park. With support from the US Embassy Sofia and NASA (Houston), the festival aimed to inspire youth toward STEAM careers and big thinking.

Themed “Fly Higher, Dive Deeper, Climb New Peaks to Inspire Bulgarian Children to Dream,” the event featured attractions like a live connection with NASA’s Anna Fisher, a virtual tour of CERN, and a flight demonstration by record holder Nikolay Kalaydzhiev. Participants included Associate Professor Lachezar Georgiev showcasing quantum communication and Petko Dinev, founder of Imperx.

The festival included lectures, workshops, and stands for children and youth, reaching about 360,000 daily Sofia Metro passengers through pre-event advertisements. On Downlink-Day, it attracted 1,500 visitors, over 2,000 online viewers globally, and achieved around 1,000,000 viewers on national TV channels.
