PanEuropa Bulgaria, with the support of “Konrad Adenauer” Foundation, organizes public discussion entitled “EU during the Lithuanian Presidency and Where Bulgaria Is”. H. E. Darius Gaidys, Ambassador of Lithuania to Bulgaria, and Zinaida Zlatanova, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, will participate in the event. It will take place on 25 June 2013 (Tuesday) at 11 o’clock in Hilton Hotel, “Musala 2” Hall, Sofia.
During the meeting Ambassador Gaidys will symbolically assume the Presidency of the European Union and will acquaint the audience with a valuable overview for the next six months. He will present the priorities of the upcoming Lithuanian Presidency including: economic growth, political development and future role of the EU in the international relations. On his part, Minister Zlatanova will present the basic parameters of the future programming period 2014-2020 and the Bulgarian government’s standpoint about the operational development during the next financial period.
