Discussion on the Priorities of the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union

The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Republic of Bulgaria and PanEuropa Bulgaria, with the support of the Representation of the European Commission in Sofia and the Office of Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Sofia, organised a discussion on the Priorities of the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The discussion was held on 14 January 2020 at the House of Europe.

The event was opened by Mr Thorsten Geissler, Head of the Office of Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Sofia, and Ms Gergana Passy, President of PanEuropa Bulgaria. The priorities of the new EU Presidency were presented by the Ambassador of Croatia to Bulgaria H.E. Ms Jasna Ognjanovac. The Bulgarian vision on the key European topics and the priorities was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister for Judicial Reform and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria H.E. Ms Ekaterina Zaharieva. The speeches by Ms Ognjanovac and Ms Zaharieva were followed by a working discussion, led by Ms Passy, acting as moderator. The event was closed by a cocktail and an exhibition on The Cravat Story.
