The concert is being organized on the occasion of some remarkable anniversaries: 90 years PanEuropa Bulgaria, 40 years „Ode to Joy“ as the anthem of Europe, 7 years since Bulgaria has signed the treaty of accession to EU, 5 years Bulgaria in EU.

On 27 April 2012 you will have the opportunity to celebrate them with us in the Sofia Opera and Ballet! You will hear Valya Balkanska and Petar Yanev, with the accompaniment of „100 kaba bagpipes“. The „Pim Pam“ Children Chorus will appear in order to perform the anthem of the European Union. Milcho Leviev will participate with his improvisations. You will also watch a performance of the choir and orchestra of the Sofia Opera and Ballet with Velizar Genchev as conductor.

The event is being organized with the special assistance of the Sofia Opera and Ballet, the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria and Sofia Municipality.
