PanEuropa Bulgaria, in cooperation with the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, organises a public discussion on the topic „EU during the Italian Presidency and Where Bulgaria Stands”. Special participants in the event will be H.E. Marco Conticelli, Ambassador of Italy and H.E. Kristian Vigenin, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
H.E. Marco Conticelli will present the priorities of the Italian Presidency, which will focus on several fields of action including: achieving “soft” federalism, focus on Digital Agenda for Europe, migration and taxation issues as well as energy policies.
In his speech Minister Vigenin will outline the main challenges Bulgaria faces in the upcoming 6 months, including the expectations from the new programming period, the new European Commission, the foreign policy in the context of the Italian EU Presidency, as well as other issues of national importance.
The event will take place on July 1st, 2014 (Tuesday), at 11:00 a.m., at Sofia Hotel Balkan. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m.
