PanEuropa Bulgaria together with the kind support of Konrad Adenauer Foundation have the pleasure to invite you to a public discussion, entitled “EU during the Greek Presidency and Where Bulgaria stands”. Special participants in the event will be H.E.Dimosthenis Stoidis, Ambassador of Greece and H.E. Kristian Vigenin, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
H.E. Dimosthenis Stoidis will present the priorities of the Greek Presidency which will focus on four fields of action: Growth-Jobs-Cohesion, Further Integration of the EU-eurozone, Migration-Borders-Mobility, Sea Policies.
In his speech Minister Vigenin will outline the main challenges Bulgaria faces in the upcoming 6 months, including the expectations from the new programming period, the foreign policy in the context of the Syrian refugee wave as well as other issues of national importance.
Greece takes over the Presidency of the European council for the 5th time which coincides with the year of elections for European Parliament members. The motto of the Presidency is “United we sail further.”The event will take place on 13 January 2014 (Monday), at 11:00 a.m., at Sheraton Hotel. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m.
