On December 12, 2024, a public discussion was held at the Military Club, jointly organized by PanEuropa Bulgaria, the Ministry of Economy, and the Atlantic Reserve Officers’ Union. The event focused on the reconstruction of Ukraine, with special guest Professor Ihor Zhaloba, President of PanEuropa Ukraine.

The Minister of Economy and Industry, Petko Nikolov, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting Ukraine and detailing initiatives undertaken to stabilize the Ukrainian economy.

Following the Minister’s address, the program continued with presentations from leading professors and experts in the fields of security and economics. Professor Ihor Zhaloba, Professor Todor Tagarev, and Professor Velizar Shalamanov shared their analyses of the challenges and opportunities for Ukraine’s reconstruction. They highlighted the necessity of international support and strategic planning while also discussing long-term initiatives to address the aftermath of the conflict and promote sustainable development.

The discussion provided profound insights and conclusions on the complex aspects of the Ukrainian issue. Participants had the opportunity to exchange opinions and formulate proposals for approaches that could contribute to the swift and effective recovery of the country.
